Uinta Colors-Uinta National Forest, Utah

It is a joyous relief to see such a healthy forest in northern Utah, while so many in the West have fallen prey to the destructive pine beetles. How unfortunate that our federal land managers were not more proactive in avoiding such a disastrous event. By preventing logging companies from removing the affected trees when first discovered, far too many of our forests have been destroyed.
