Cloverleaf Pool-The Subway, Zion NP, Utah
Water carves rock, sometimes into unique and interesting shapes. The Subway formation, found deep in the recesses of one of Zion's many canyons, provides a dramatic example of how high volumes of gushing water from spring run-off and flash floods can create a 'tunnel' through solid rock.
