A Smithsonian Wilderness Forever finalist. This image was one of 63 from more than 5000 submissions chosen by the Smithsonian to represent wilderness in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the wilderness act. For several months it hung in the Natural History museum exhibit in Washington DC.
